Word on the street is that this used to be a really nice hike before the fires ripped through. Parts were nice & shaded, but overall it was a hot hike. Glad I finally got it checked off the list! We walked this as a northbound one-way hike w/car shuttle, which is definitely the way to do it.
Stopped by the restaurant @ Cuyamaca Lk. afterward for a drink. Subpar place.
Then my friend's pool & hot tub afterward for a bit of a holiday celebration.
