Hello folks. I was more of a beach person until I got my first mountain trip. But I still prefer water sights now, so I’m reaching out to find a trail route with waterfall sights. If you know such spots, please share them with me. Thanks for taking the time.

All the best ones I've seen are in Mount Rainier National Park. My favorite is off the Wonderland trail between Indian Bar and Panhandle Gap. Around 46.84083, -121.65806. So many of them just cascade off the ridge from the Ohanapecosh glacier deep into the valley below. Upper Stevens Creek Falls off the Paradise Glacier Trail is really great too.

Spray Falls is dramatic. There are a lot of waterfalls that are easy to get to at Paradise (Rainier). If you're in Seattle Franklin Falls is a short drive. Boulder River Trail near Arlington is an easy waterfall hike for rainy days.

No specification for driving distance. For me, when it comes to waterfall hikes Oregon is the place to be. All kinds of falls along The Gorge, east of Portland. Have to check for possible trail closures due to fires or slides. Also, Silver Falls State Park near Salem, the Trail of Ten Falls is a whole lot of bang for the buck.

This is about the right time of year to drive over Elk Pass between Randle and Trout Lake. Lot of nice waterfalls up there right along the road.
