So there I am last Monday 9/19/22 on the NW ridge of Bacon about 6500' and this chopper keeps buzzing me, maybe checking on fires, then lands near the bottom of NC glacier drops someone off. Rescue maybe? Then lands by me at that antenna thingy, guys get out and in. Then lands in the middle of the Glacier and drops some dudes off I finally figured out it was USGS monitoring, cool. I felt like King Kong being attacked there for a while. lol.gif Anybody have any info about the study or maybe someone here was a part of that and said look at that idiot with the Guitar by himself. I had fun and was safe. I know our glaciers are receding and glad this is being brought out.
