As we were going up Ice Creek last week we met three young people coming out of Ice Lakes. One of them (and maybe all three) were on the Entiat district trial crew. Among other things, we were told the Duncan ridge road and trail had been completely logged out. So we decided to check it out. Yup, they were right. The road is a bit brushy but the road and trail has been 100% logged out all the way to the lookout.
you are in denial if you think the trail goes all the way through from Anthem Creek to the Emerald Park trail (Snowbrushy).

The trail going around some cliffs to get up to the lookout is sketchey and downright dangerous in places, but hikeable.

The road got blocked by a new down fall overnight. Luckily we had a saw and strap.

Always a good idea to carry an axe or saw just for times like that.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,I took the one less traveled by. And that has made all the difference. Robert Frost
