41M looking for outdoors partner for hiking, backpacking, camping (also open to trail running, climbing, skiing). Currently doing day trips every other week with my dog. Work in inpatient medicine (7-on, 7-off schedule) and prefer weekdays (less crowded), but open to weekends as well with good planning. Would eventually like to do more overnight and multi-day trips regularly, but wife doesn't want me going alone (she doesn't count the dog). 20 years outdoors experience, always carry bear spray / bear can / InReach GPS/SOS / first aid kit, and would like to think I'm decent company on the trail. Hoping someone will throw me a bone because the Seattle Freeze is real (just moved here a year ago).

Welcome to the site.

It can be hit and miss as far as finding partners here, but I have met some awesome people, so don't give up. Just watch out for for the gnomes... eek.gif
