I've heard through the Jungle Drums that a climber went missing the S. Pickets this past summer. Any more information out there?

Very odd as there are not many trips that would really qualify as solo in the Pickets; maybe McMillan Spire or perhaps Whatcom?

Ian Cox hiked in solo to do West McMillan Spire and possibly Degenhardt on Aug 20 and he never came out. A search was conducted by SAR and some of his friends but he was not found. He was a good climber and certainly had the skills and experience for the objective, but since he went completely missing, it’s difficult to guess what may have happened.
