We were looking for someplace to go, that we'd not been a 100 times already.
So not having been up the Money Ck area for some 20+yrs. We headed there.
Normally you can drive to Lk. Elizabeth. But 2.7 miles from the lake there
is a massive slide that prevents that.
So we got through the slide (not really all that tough) .And walked in
snow to the lake.
There are some washout further up: Again. No big deal.
If this road gets another 30 cms of snow. It would be a fun little
XC ski.
We put on our micros. Snowshoes would have been over kill
on this day.
