These lakes are always a nice late season trip. We were able to drive all the way to the Teeley Creek TH. The last couple of miles were snowy, but a good set of tracks provided easy passage. 4x4/high clearance is a good idea.
Pothole Lake is half frozen but Bertha May & Granite are still a beautiful green/blue. The bridge at the Pothole outlet is still broken. Above Pothole the snow was maybe 4" or so deep. Between Bertha May & Granite it was closer to 6"ish. We followed bootprints up to Bertha but broke trail to Granite. Found a sunny spot where we enjoyed a warm(ish) lunch. After the sun dropped below the ridge, we retraced our steps for a pleasant trip back to the car.
