My daughter has decided to print, frame, and mount backcountry privy photos in her bathroom.
Please post any privy images you would be willing to allow her to use.
No people in them please.
(wouldn't want to violate anyone's privy rights or copyrights)
Here are a few samples of what she is after:
Goat Peak:
Lookout Mountain:
Sauk Mountain:

Privy from a homesteader cabin, Bismark meadows, Priest lake Idaho, NW side.
Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

Thanks for the inputs. She would like at least one "open air" type like they have at Sahale Glacier Camp but I don't have any of those.

One of my favorites, the Pasayten Airstrip Outhouse, is beautifully built, clean, and has even has toilet paper! It’s next to a spring-fed water trough so you can even wash your hands afterwards. I think it was built in the 1930’s, but it’s still in very good condition, at least it was last August before the Parks fire burned close by.

I love the hinges. Reminds me of the custom hinges Dick Proenneke built for the Dutch door on his Twin Peaks cabin.
