Tuath and I went back to the same place we were on Sunday. Only this time it was incredible. Much better snow. And it snowed the whole time.
We got off the road and headed up about a mile through the trees. There was 18cms of fresh pow on a firm base. Couldn't ask for better conditions.
The trick to skiing trees is to not look at the trees. But rather the space between them.
Waiting for me to rip skins and start down.
There really is something to be said for being out solo with just Tuath: Knowing that you are totally dependant on no one else: Peaceful.
I really love these ski. And the Voila bindings

All told we were out for a bit more than 4 hrs. Without a doubt: This was the best ski day we've had all season.

Live every day like you will die to-marrow. For some day that will be true.
