While hiking what we refer to as the "Big Loop" on Tiger, the Hound and I came across two good size trailwork projects today.
The first was on Dwight's Trail. A crew of four or five was rerouting the trail around a wet spot where a foot log had failed. This will make it much safer/better.
The second was, the DNR is putting substantial energy into cleaning up the Poo Poo Point Trail! This is one of the most popular trails on the Mountain. The work looks great!
Cheers, B!
BTW, the "Big Loop" (in our world) is. Highpoint, Lingering, Dwight's, Bootleg, walk the road to WT1, Poo Top, One View, Poo Poo Point Trail, Bus Trail, The Connector to the base of the Cableline, walk the road back to Highpoint and the truck.

I hiked the poo poo trail from the high school recently, hadn't done it on over 10 years. They are making it really nice- good grade, not many switchbacks, pretty bridges, and some old growth!

I recently came across WCC trail crew on WT1. They are building a new trail that will extend the WT1 "Bypass" trail down to the saddle between WT! & WT2. I won't miss that section of road.
