Way back in November we came here on XC skis promising ourselves that we would return with our Big Boy/Girl skis. Well we did. Only problem was that the snow that had fallen two days before had been blown off.
Leaving wind sculpted piles.
Glare ice
But great views. And lots of sun.
So after refueling
We picked our way down. Avoiding the steeper sections (duh). Now survival skiing is not something one looks for. Still. It is a good skill to have in ones bag of tricks.

Live every day like you will die to-marrow. For some day that will be true.
