Good example of what a breakaway collar does. Kitty can get trapped by a branch, or hung up on a fencepost, etc. I see your kitty has a breakaway collar. Mine always did when I had in/out kitties. Since one disappeared years ago and never returned, no one is allowed Outside (but one, that I walk on a leash and harness; yes, I'm *that* person in the 'hood.)

Speaking of collars and cat whereabouts. They're wearing GPS collars. I keep an eye on them during the day and occasionally go fetch them and bring them home.
