The Pap of Glen Coe dominates the wonderful village of Glen Coe. For over a mile there is little in the way of elevation gain.
After that, it gets serious about moving you upwards.
And the vistas just get better and better.
After about an hour & a half the "Pap" comes into sight.
Before long the scramble to the summit is facing you.
It took us about 3 hours to top out.

Live every day like you will die to-marrow. For some day that will be true.

Climbed the Pap in 2014 right out the door from where we were staying on the Strathcona estate. (yes, that Strathcona) Was going to continue on up the ridge where the Munros are but the weather was coming in and route finding in fog was sketchy even with a gps.
