Well I ride in the center of my lane, where the pavement is best and the least debris is. The radar sees cars 1/3 mile back which is before I can see them in a mirror or hear them. I move to the side of the road as they approach to facilitate an easy, safe pass. So it's obvious to the driver that I'm aware of their presence and being polite to make their life easier. That's enough for most people. Negative interactions went down by about 99.9%.
