Dang sad. We hiked through Buckskin 3 weeks ago and found the rain jackets of the first two victims.

We had to bag a couple hikes in the area the past couple week. There has been a thunderstorm every afternoon at least one with marble sized hail. When you have cumulus buildup by noon. It is time to skedadle

We are at Dinosaur NM and the picture of the Bighorn remindes me of how hundreds of dinos met their end to be preserved as fossils found here.

It was quite erie to climb past the ram. A grim reminder that nature is unforgiving and some places that we travel, as beautiful as they are, can be dangerous.
