I've got some spreadsheets for several areas in the state that project a meltout date based on the average rate over the past 5 days. I'm getting May 31 for Hart's Pass, June 2 for Easy Pass, June 11 for Lyman Lake, June 7 for Paradise. A weird anomaly is Alpine Meadows at 3500' has a projected meltout date of June 10. Looks like some parts of the west slopes got pretty heavy snowpack at lower elevations this past winter. Olallie Meadows at 4050' is projected to be snowfree on June 7. The dates for the higher elevation locations seem quite early. Obviously the projections are dependent on weather conditions but unless it gets cold again, look like the high meadows will be snowfree by mid-June.

It's never too late to have a happy childhood
