On Sunday 5/21 I drove up the Sibley Creek road intending to pick up some back country skiers who were descending from the Eldorado area via Sibley Creek. I was driving a Sprinter van and my way was blocked at roughly 2550 ft elevation by a large tree across the road. I could see that smaller vehicles could make their way under the tree on the uphill side of the road. The skiers reported that several smaller vehicles had made it past the fallen log. With care I was able to turn my van around right at the point where the road was blocked.

Yes, the clearance works both ways ... one way at a time.
