I liked her as Auntie Entity in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.

It was the summer of 1969, same time as woodstock, almost. We were at the Seattle Pop Festival in Woodinville. It was amazing that nearly every band or performer had a recording in the national charts. Three days of music. My favorites included The Flying Burrito Brothers and the Ike and Tina Turner Review. Ike and Tina had a big show, including their own stage announcer. A large band, including a horn section. I was not familiar with Tina and Ike but shivers went through me as the band built up until Tina took the stage. They played a minute or so before she came out. I remember the show so well. I felt so wired, i could have snapped in half. My head could have flown off and I wouldn't have noticed. I have seen hundreds of rock and roll shows, this one stands out. I wish you could have been there. The energy Tina had was unbelievable. We will miss her so much. Thanks for the music.

That's a great story sams. Thanks for taking us back in time to a local experience of Tina. ~z
