I just met Matt Primomo this fall at the NW Avalanche Forum. I had previously spoken to him several times a couple of years ago regarding the snowpack weaknesses at Blewett Pass. He seemed to be a very nice and unassuming guy. Condolences to the family and friends of both forecasters.

Does anyone have the details of Matt Primomo's death? The few reports I can find just say it was unrelated to his work with NWAC.

https://www.facebook.com/wallowaavalanchecenter They posted "Matt Primomo who passed away in a rock climbing accident this week was a forecaster for NWAC."
