Looks like a pretty good pack and at about $60 a good price. I bought a Gregory Z-35 day pack on steepandcheap.com several years ago for $60, it's pretty heavy at over 3 lbs, but is very durable with a lot of compartments and a good suspension system.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

I know the gear, so I'm probably right: key is too go extra tight on the shoulders.

Right about the waist buckles. This looks like a good buy. I have a winter camelbak pack that is slightly smaller but perfect for skiing.

I have a couple of day packs, depending on the season and how much photo gear I take. Wanted to mention the Osprey Stuff Pack for travel. It folds into virtually nothing in your suitcase. Great to have 18 liter day pack at your destination with one water bottle pocket.

@InFlight That looks like a good size for what I need but I like the waist straps of the OP pack.
