Getting ready to hit the snow in the higher hills, but my daily laps on Mt. Peak are so purdy this time of year, I thought I would post a few pix from this week's workouts. This is a tiny mountain close to downtown Enumclaw that recently saw the restoration of its summit lookout by a team of enthusiasts; I posted aabout it some time back, and this is just a quick re-visit. If you're in the area and want to do a short, lovely hike to a newly-rebuilt lookout tower with nice views, give Mt. Peak a try.
 Mt. Peak in the early mist...  Free snax on the way! Not as perfect as the grocery store, but tastier!  My horse and cow friends have started coming up to the fence to say hi...prolly because I gave them some of the stolen apples.  I found a really direct, very steep side trail that sees few boots and has great breakout vistas!  The views on the way up are fantastic!  Some interesting historical info in the summit shack.  Suburban Cow Jail. Enumclaw has lost a lot of its small-town charm, but it's still beautiful.
