I wonder if were not talking about two different cabins here. There was one up Cougar creek a long time ago. I walked through its ruin ten + years ago. Then there was (maybe is) one up Anderson lake/Dog mtn way. I think that was hit by a tree a couple years ago.

As of Summer 2015 the cabin is in great shape, thanks to the wonderful folks that make repairs everytime they visit! Though the wood stove is deteriorating a bit.👍
