So, I have this older ProLite 3 Therm-a-Rest that has a slow leak somewhere, and I'm too lazy to figure out where the leak is.
For what it's worth, I had two old thermarests that had the slow leak that I could not find with the "bathtub test", and wrote to MSR to ask for their suggestion(s). "Send 'em in" was the reply, and I did. Soon, two NEW ones arrived in the mail. I buy their stuff whenever it's a choice now.

moonspots, I appreciate the heads-up! Curious, how long ago was this and was proof of purchase necessary?
Oh, 2, 3 years or so, I'd guess, and no receipt was requested. I had no idea they would do that, I just figured they'd find/fix the leak and send 'em back with an invoice, or send me a note stating that they were not worth messing with... Well, now I go to MSR first whenever I'm looking for something.
And, yeah, I hesitated on mentioning this as there are some that might/would take that info and find a way to "scam the system", but I wanted also to give a good company a proper "thumbs up".
