At least it's only $1.50 vs the $22 charged for Mt St Helen's for no perceptible reason.

Ah ok. Haven't tried climbing up there yet. Didn't know there was a fee. Not surprised just didn't know that.

I've never understood the appeal of getting up super early to be at a mountain top at sunrise. I did it once in Nepal by hiking in the dark before dawn, then shivering at the top waiting for the sun. I liked the view a lot better after the sun was up for a while. I'll never do a sunrise hike again. Sunset makes a lot more sense -- you hike up while it's still light, ala TNAB.
