For sure! Fire lookouts are equipped with pretty elaborate lightning rod systems.

There are quite a few according to this site, which shows the location of standing lookouts. I didn't count them, but here is the site: Standing Lookouts in MT

Very nice! Takes me back to growing up in Western Montana. As a 20 something I worked for the FS in various capacities. For a couple of falls they had me hiking old trails and re-blazing them to try to get more trail money. It was sweet duty! Made my way to several lookouts that way.
