It was that time of yr. again - time to hike up Pumpkin Pk. I do this trail once a yr. near Halloween, when it's still a little warm for desert hikes. It's a good one for a weekday, since the nearby Iron Mtn. gets the hoards & ya never know when some of them may overflow onto Pumpkin. Thankfully we only saw a few people on the main trail coming up from Ellie Ln., none on the side trail to Pumpkin.

I have no idea. The pumpkins had strips of reflective tape so I guess someone was planning to go back there @ night.
