Maybe we're due? For what, Chicken Little? We're sitting near major faults, have an active volcano and a history of earthquakes and tsunami. And racoons and squirrels are always running around, so what's new about that? Maybe we're due in our own meager lifespans but not the planet's own timeline. biggrin.gif

Speaking of animals acting strange, where is Dogman? Of course, strange to us is normal to Dogman.
He's doing well I am sure.

I'm only concerned about where he is. If he is doing well, I don't know whether to be scared or elated.

Prior to earthquakes there is a lot of magnetic stress in and above the ground. Some animals can sense this; those with magnetic navigation systems (birds) are often thrown off course. Other animals feel the pressure differently (gravity doesn't feel right). The pressure waves can make sensitive people feel naseous if they're standing too close to faultlines. Sometimes, magnetic inferference is so extreme, it produces an electrical phenomena known as 'earthquake lights' in areas where there is a lot of quartz content in the rocks. http://www.geocities.com/sweetspirit_2002/earth.html

Now for wrath, now for ruin...and the Red Dawn!
