We went down to Medford last March. I mostly hike for wildflowers and don't have the endurance for long hikes any longer. I found the BLM site a good source for hikes in the area. We did Table Rocks which had wonderful wildflowers. Pretty easy trail but good valley views from the top. We also hiked the Jacksonville Woodlands which have very unique wildflowers but it is more of a wild park walk. There were a couple of other trail systems we considered but didn't have an opportunity to explore and I'll link below. Also don't forget to check the Oregon Hikers Forum.

Unfortunately I've been working daylight hours arriving Sunday night then returning to Seattle Thursday night after the shift. Long drive. Even still the mind still wanders, wondering about opportunities. Haven't stayed down there for a weekend yet but have considered that.
