Long absent as a population in the Atlantic. One did cross the Arctic a few years ago, ended up in the Mediterranean, as far east as Haifa. Apparently starved as I remember.
Where one can stray two could. Could grays extend their range? Was there genetic exchange during previous Arctic Ocean Ice minima? The later seems easier than the first.
