Skagit Valley woman reaches lofty goal 09:20 PM PDT on Thursday, June 2, 2005 From KING Staff and Wire Reports SEATTLE – A 20-year-old woman from Skagit Valley made an historic climb to the top of the world, completing her conquest of the tallest peaks on each of the seven continents. Danielle Fisher reached the 29,035-foot summit of Mount Everest with an expedition led by David C. Morton, 34, a mountain guide with Seattle-based Alpine Ascents International. She is now the youngest person in the world to summit the highest peak on each continent... Danielle said that even though she has struggled with attention deficit disorder most of her life, when she's on a mountain, she's able to completely focus.

What is intresting is her ADD....I am a firm believer that those with hyperactivity, ADD, etc, make great outdoorsy types...I can think of 3 people I know closely that can go forever!! Awesome for her smile.gif
