Quote: | New York-based hosts Stacy London, a Vogue magazine veteran, and Clinton Kelly, a menswear expert, have been here since Monday, seeking material for future shows. They say Seattle is, to put it politely, casual to a fault.
For starters, the "grunge residue" needs to be cleaned up, Kelly said. "There's way too much flannel and plaid."
And that's not all: "The choices in footwear are almost too sensible. I can understand the need to hike, but not in the city." |

Not to worry. They'll catch up with us.
It's pretty safe to say that if we take all of man kinds accumulated knowledge, we still don't know everything. So, I hope you understand why I don't believe you know everything. But then again, maybe you do.

So, wearing shoes you can actually walk in is a bad thing?

Well, if they'd make pretty shoes we could walk in maybe more of us would wear them.
Just a thought.

No disrespect to Seattlites, but this article says the truth. If you've been around a bit, you can see that a lot of them dress like slobs.
I have been to black tie events here to see people wearing godawful sportwear, jeans, and polar fleece.
Even my out-of-town friends have made the comment too.

You should really wear something over your socks and underoos.

Do the boots fit yer hands better or worse with a flanel underlay
Seriously, I've never comprehended fashion, or even coordinated colors. I think understanding of this is not part of the XY map.
