New York-based hosts Stacy London, a Vogue magazine veteran, and Clinton Kelly, a menswear expert, have been here since Monday, seeking material for future shows. They say Seattle is, to put it politely, casual to a fault. For starters, the "grunge residue" needs to be cleaned up, Kelly said. "There's way too much flannel and plaid." And that's not all: "The choices in footwear are almost too sensible. I can understand the need to hike, but not in the city."

Not to worry. They'll catch up with us. biggrin.gif

It's pretty safe to say that if we take all of man kinds accumulated knowledge, we still don't know everything. So, I hope you understand why I don't believe you know everything. But then again, maybe you do.

So, wearing shoes you can actually walk in is a bad thing?

Well, if they'd make pretty shoes we could walk in maybe more of us would wear them. Just a thought.

No disrespect to Seattlites, but this article says the truth. If you've been around a bit, you can see that a lot of them dress like slobs. I have been to black tie events here to see people wearing godawful sportwear, jeans, and polar fleece. Even my out-of-town friends have made the comment too.

Do the boots fit yer hands better or worse with a flanel underlay wink.gif Seriously, I've never comprehended fashion, or even coordinated colors. I think understanding of this is not part of the XY map.
