I'm headed to Mt. Baker area's Lake Ann for an overnighter with the family Thursday. Does anyone know the current trail and road conditions? I don't really trust the NFS site as it's often out of date.
The road to the trailhead is open. I checked the NFS site early on this month and they said it was "partial" (as in snow). But now it has changed to "open". How much snow constitutes a change, I don't know, but I'd venture to say it's worth a trip already.
Hi
I was there today, and the road is open - hard surface to the trailhead.
The trail is in good condition - no snow on the trail.
Took us old folks 3 hours to get to the lake.
