Coming down from Van Isle. seeking a good four day trip with some high elev. fishing. Can anyone suggest a route? Also a good online source for topos. Checked out the enchantments but it seems pretty crowded. Anyone know about the rest of the alpine lakes area, or the Willam O. Douglas wild? Any other suggestions? Would be happy to put you onto some good steelheading on the west coast of the island in return, if you're so inclined and don't mind devils club:)

The people on this board are pretty down on Victoria residents lately... Hint: tell them you have protested against the city's sewage treatment policy flush.gif

David, Karen and Kasey I was actually looking for some nice alpine lakes to poop in smile.gif. But, seriously check out: http://poopvictoria.ca/ their mascot Mr. Floatie has definitley gotten some media attention. I guess if people like you and I had control over the actions of our elected representatives the world would be a much better place. peace, adhoc

Both the East and West Foss Forks are nice. Good fishing. Some other more off trail lakes that are great. E-mail me for more details.
