Are there any hiking, or outdoor walks to be done on Mercer Island. I have never been over there, and I am just curious.

I think they run a half marathon on Mercer Island. I wonder what route that takes? From Island Crest Way west across the bridge it is about 3 miles. Through the tunnels to Rainier Avenue another mile. And a few more blocks south to Baskin and Robbins. I have never done this route, but have observed that it can be done. There may be a bus from Rainier that will take you back to Mercer.

Great bike ride around the island. I think it's 13 miles. Nice 'n wind-y, sometimes it's windy too.
