It was a hot day for a steep trail.
This one's a grind but once you are running the ridge over to Mount Baldy, it's worth it with views of Cle Elum Lake, Mount Stuart and still lots of flowers.
The hike begins on the Easton Ridge trail at 2,400 feet. Mount Baldy is at 5,107 so with the ups and downs we probably did more than 2,700 feet gain. Not another person on any of these trails.
Anyone know what the temperature was at Easton today?
