I just trying to get rid of the HFCS and hydrgenated oils (I'm not even going after the white flour and the other baddy oils right now) I've already had to purge my cupboards of the following:
most of the bottled salad dressing
most of the flavored syrups (not all, yay)
cake mix
gobs of other random stuff
crackers ofther than Ak-Mak
I use olive oil + basalmic vinegar for salad dressiing. Or if I'm feeling adventurous, OO + miso + mustard.
I only use pure maple syrup, grade B.
TJs makes a triscuits variant and an oreo variant w/ 0 transfats.
Butter is better than margarine because I consider trans fats to be a poison and butter isn't a poison, and if it comes from organic, grass fed cows it's much better and on a par with Smart balance. Problem is, I've never seen butter from from organic, grass fed cows.

I do the same but I mix it with a packet of Good Seasons brand Roasted Garlic salad dressing mix There are other flavors.
