Wanted to let everyone know that my photo website is finally online. Still more photos to put up, but this should get it started. I'm not a graphic designer in the least, so I'm open to any comments or suggestions, in both the design and the photos. Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy taking them.

Eventually, once I scrape up enough for one of those fancy digital photo printers. I'm thinking the Epson 1280 would do just fine, once I get the $500.

It's pretty safe to say that if we take all of man kinds accumulated knowledge, we still don't know everything. So, I hope you understand why I don't believe you know everything. But then again, maybe you do.

Links are fine. Photos are meant to be viewed. Don't worry about bandwidth. As my family says, "I'll run off that bridge when I get there."

I wish. Maybe someday, when I've either made enough money at my Real Job or had enough of it to live empoverished.

I've been using the Olympus E-10 digital SLR for about 2 years. Before that was a Kodak DC-290 digital point-and-shoot for about 6 months. Film before that. All the photos on my website are digital except the last one (Howse Peak), and all but the last 3 or 4 are from the E-10.

Stunning images. Truly some of the best I've seen EVER on the web.
You've captured the "feeling" of beautiful imagery, Michael. A sort of universal peacefulness to all your images. Composition is absolutely dead-on spectacular, and these images really have an effect on the psyche.
The Rain Forest shot on Page 1 of the Gallery is spot-on perfect for exposure. A difficult shot indeed, and you pulled it off without blowing out the highlights. I've tried and tried, but never have been able to get a true "keeper" of this kind of shot. Using Portra 160 film with its huge dynamic range gets me close, but still...your image is what I've been striving for. Nice going, man.
The Bracken Fern and hemlock on page 4...beautiful color combination and a great "3D" look.
The Quartz Creek tributary on page 6...nice touch on the quarter-arc of water foam on the lower part of the cascade...it drew me right in...unusual and sweet.
Also, good web pages...clean and uncluttered.
I think I'm just ever so slightly impressed.
