Did you try going down the trail to the left of the hiker's hut then across, up and right to the high point at #1? What's with the Cable Line Trail in muddy conditions? confused.gif You guys don't like the trail? biggrin.gif

We always do the cableline because it is substantially quicker (without running) if you are in reasonable shape, and because the start is outside the gate. That way you get most of the climb done in under an hour and to the top before dark and can cruise down the descent.

Kami and Hoku wanted me to print this out and hang it on the wall next to their bowls but that just didn't seem right... EWB - should have introduced myself when my pups and I came noisily by. Seemed like PMB might have been a little taken aback by my chattery older dog so decided to push on instead. She sure was a trooper for being out in those conditions though! Fun to see so many people out in obviously nasty conditions. And so many dogs too - good times. Like everyone else, we were soaked to the bone when we got back but after changing into dry clothes I found I had forgotten to include a pair of dry socks and shoes so had to miss the IBH - bummer!

No prob, I knew it was you, as I recognized the dogs, so I should have introduced myself! embarassedlaugh.gif I don't think PMB minded the dog chatter, she's just a bit shy, plus I was bugging her to scoot over and let you all by. We talked about how the dogs seemed to be impatiently hustling you up the trail, though. smile.gif

Yeah, I'll never be fast enough for them - especially at the start. Didn't help that they could smell their buddy Mazzy and all the rest up the trail.

Awesome but I can't say I'm sorry I missed it. Conditions sound dismal. See you all next week though.

We were eating dinner at Changs in Renton and I was looking over towards Tiger Mountain thinking that must be some mess over there. I couldn't even see Cougar so it had to be bad lol.gif This afternoon was a little nicer. At least the only rain was from the melting snow in the trees above.

Thanks, Yet, the girl does love her muddy hikes. smile.gif GeoTom, that's a fine video - you can really see the huge snowflakes falling there at the summit, unbelievable! up.gif

Since he dodged the spanking machine with the excuse of hypothermia, here's a close-up of his hat graphic:

Fun to see everyone who made it to Issy Brewery. And where is the photo of this famous man who was hiking in a cast (and shorts apparently) trying to make me look bad?

It's true, we saw him and his gang back at the road. Too dark by then to get a good pic, at least without making him sit for a flash shot anyway. I thought of you when I saw the cast (big one, with rubber pads on the bottom), but I didn't want to make you feel bad. biggrin.gif prod.gif

You'll get to see me test out my "walking boot" come late April, so go clear out all the snow on trail for me so I don't slip!

I was up on West Tiger today (continuing my Dawn Patrol tradition of following the TNAB, since I most often can't go smile.gif ). I saw on the Tiger Mountain Trail the big HAZARD warning sign about bridge damage. I crossed the bridge and didn't see anything wrong, does anyone know what's up?

Lots of the same pics, slightly different angles.
Tokul spent all of Friday on her bed. My wife said, half jokingly, that she had to put a spoon under Tokul's nose to make sure she was still breathing. However, Tokul seems fine today and ready to go again. smile.gif
