Hi all - Brand new to the site, and really enjoy what I've found so far... I'm looking for any info on the Kamikaze Falls trail that runs north off of the Mt. Teneriffe trail - Is it possible to get to the summit from this route? I went up this morning to the falls and had to book it back down to make it into work, but my curiosity was piqued... Thanks! http://www.altitudeslickness.com/photos/040104/

I don't think you can get to the summit from Kamikaze Falls itself, but the Kamikaze Falls trail I think intersects the trail to the summit...somewhere. The whole area is a mess. REI has a pamphlet / book on the trails around Si / Teneriffe that you might want to pick up. Also the Issaquah Alps Greentrails map would be good too.

The trail definetly goes to the top. I have been there several times. Class 5 dirt on a hogback then talus (now steep snow). It is probably easier to go down the road on the return but that is very loooong winksmile.gif major wookout.

Cool, thanks for the tip. I'll have to pick up that pamphlet I think... I live in North Bend, so you'd think someone would have put it in our welcome basket when we moved in!
