This was a Mountaineer scramble. We hiked the Stafford Creek Trail to the creek at 4800' then headed off trail. The route was easy to the pass next to Little Navaho. We headed up the ridge to the County Line Trail and followed it down to Falls Creek Pass. From there it was a nice scramble up Three Brothers. This route was only 6 miles to the summit.
From there we retraced out route back to the ridge of Navaho and followed it to the summit. The day was warm but clouds moved it to moderate the temperature. There was also a cool breeze. All in all, perfect weather conditions. We dropped down to Navaho Pass and took the Stafford Trail back to the cars.
There were more wildflowers this day than I have ever seen on the Stafford Creek Trail. Gilia, lupine, various paintbrushes, bitterroot, balsamroot, larkspur, elephant heads, and shooting starts just to name a few. Doing the loop was more interesting than going in and out the same way. It was a long day with 9 1/2 hours on the trail. We covered 15 miles with 6000' gained.

Agreed, nice pics and TR.
Whoever was looking for beta on the Cascadian Couloir needs to take a look at your shot of Stuart - a picture like that pretty much tells the story.
