Myself and a friend or two are planning on doing it one of these weekends this month other than the 18th.

I'm interested and could go Saturday June 11 if conditions look safe. This would be my fifth time to Muir. Personal message me if you want to set something up. I'd also be up for St. Helens.

Looks like the weather is going to be bad this weekend, let me know when you think is a good time to go. Thanks

Which forecast are you looking at? The one I see for Rainier looks decent, especially for 5 days out [and forecasts are not very accurate 5 days out]:
http://www.atmos.washington.edu/data/rainier_report.html
FRIDAY THROUGH MONDAY...MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF SHOWERS.
SNOW LEVEL 8500 FEET.

At that altitude "mostly cloudy" often translates into "mostly foggy" which would not be optimal Muir weather, especially for a first timer.

Agreed - it would not be optimal Muir weather. But there's a good chance that a forecast like that now would translate to "sunny" 5 days from now. About as good as if the forecast said "sunny" right now, maybe.

Here's a couple of suggested links

Weather - I have found this forecast to be fairly accurate
Going up to Muir in the summer is not always safe due to the crevasses opening up. Every year is different so you will need to check. The above blog is a good start, then check with the rangers.
Even in warm-hot weather take warm clothing, ice axe, plenty of water, energy food, 10 essentials and a way to get back down in a whiteout if you
can't wait it out.
