Kind of new to Seattle. Been here almost 2 years now. Have weekdays off (Tues, Wed, Thur) and sometimes Saturdays. Looking for hiking partners. Haven't really done much other than days hikes. Would love to learn more about the outdoors. Thanks AltoHiker

I go every Tuesday year long no matter what the weather. What type of hike are you looking for? Eric

I would like to go to Ingalls Lake Wednesday or Thursday if the weather holds and if the larches are still larchy (or there is fresh snow). I live in SEA and can drive.

I'm available weekdays, as long as you don't mind a slowpoke.... embarassedlaugh.gif

No more weekends off for me so I thought that I would bump this "weekday partner thread". At this time the best day for me to hike is Weds or Thursdays, preferably Thursday and off the Mountain loop, anyone wants to go PM me. I am already getting "cabin fever". I really want to get back to the Cutthroat lakes before it's snowed in, if it is not already. At least there will be no bugs now. I also recently acquired 2 sets of snow shoes, now I need a 4WD, and I should be set for Winter travel.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

And I've got Mondays off! If any of you get a Monday off -- let me know!

I'm usually up for weekday hiking too. I go w/ Type E semi-frequently on Tuesdays. If anyone has anything going on, send me a PM.

Weekdays off for 6 weeks this summer; also looks like Fridays will be off next school year.

Trying to decide where to go for an overnight Tues. Late snow melt killed the first plan of Mason Lake and up Defiance etc. Anyone up for an overnight somewhere even if it ends up as car camping + two day hikes? One person going can't leave early Tues. due to vet appt. so we're thinking of going up the Beckler River Road. I'm also interested in car camping at Lake Kachess and doing some hikes around there - at least there's a bit more snow melt on that side + less competition for the campsites midweek. Was thinking of maybe bringing the inflatable kayaks. Might be able to swing two nights out but have to be back by 5 p.m. Thurs. for sure and kind of need to be in cell range due to family situations.
