Have fun and take a second rope for the descent. Getting off goes much easier and safer via double rope raps. And the retrievals go better with a Euro death knot too.
Double ropes are definitely not needed on this climb to rap. Due to the fact that the route has a lot of benches and steps you will spend just as much time untangling them to throw down further. I might consider it to save time on a large group though.
I did not say "need." I've rapped the route both ways numerous times. For us, double rope raps worked much better, saved time and retrieved without issue (w/ Euro death knot).
OP, sorry to sidetrack from the original purpose of this thread, which is for OP to find a climbing partner. I was merely making a suggestion based on my experience (ca. 10X) climbing this route.
