I'm gathering a group for a hut-to-hut backpack trip to the South Island of New Zealand for Feb-March of 2013, including the world-reknowned Milford and Routeburn tracks plus a 3-day high country hut hike in Mt Aspiring park and one in Aoraki/Mt Cook park. Fantastic craggy peaks, glaciers and native flora and fauna. I've scheduled a second session, this time at the Newport Way Library in Bellevue at 3PM this Sunday, for anyone interested in seeing some photos and learning about or inputting to the trip plan.
