Awesome!!! I am not trying to put pressure on anyone right now, just wanting to put it out there so people can have it on their radar...I think it will be a good time.

pilgrim, I am still interested, although I have not got out this winter/spring as I had hoped too. Still need to lose some weight. smile.gif But my big issue is work, I am slammed right now and will be busy at least through the end of April. Not sure about May yet. Good thing is money won't be a issue. smile.gif Looking over your travel Doc, I see you added the list of camp sites. Do you know off your head KM to Miles? No biggie, I will probably find it before you get a chance to answer anyway. Are you still thinking or 8-10 miles per day? And is their any place to resupply on the trail (food) or do you need to pack it all with you? I guess I should get busy reading if I am going to make this happen. biggrin.gif Wolfman

Hey Wolfman! Yeah, so the trail is 75km or 40 miles (1 mile=1.6km) ...planning on 8 miles/day, give or take, depending on trail conditions, whatnot. I've been told by some that that is too much, but when I go backpacking around the Gorge and other places in the PNW, I tend to do about 8 miles/day, which is good for me. I'm planning on having a much lighter pack setup by then too, so I should be able to maintain my usual 2 mph pace. I like to stop and take pictures and look at stuff too...so I'm kinda slow, but I like to enjoy myself too. It's not a race. There are no resupply points, so plan to bring 5 nights worth of food...we will be stopping for burgers at the one place I keep reading about, so be sure to have some cash with you! I'm going to ask for commitments from people soon...right now there are three of us, you would make four and that's about as big a group as I want at the moment. We need to make our reservations for the shuttle bus in the next week or so... So, keep in touch and let me know when you know...
