Miso soup from Trader Joes is a staple on our trips. We usually start dinner with a packet, makes enough for two of us. The salty, savory flavor tastes great and revives the body after a long day's hike.

Tomato soup with crushed chicken pieces makes me feel rejuvenated after whole day's hectic schedule.

I brought packitgourmet's tortilla soup with me on the last trip and I really liked it. Good stuff to the point that I was a little sad when I finished it.

I often find Yogi had a great selection of herbal teas, and for flavor I usually turn to Stash or Lipton blends (like their "pyramid" bag line - Bavarian Wild Berry is great!). I usually start my day with a combo of several of these in one cup, and find they're great to also start a trail with!

For soup, lately I've been liking the split pea soup (dehydrated in a cup) from Safeway. 13 grams of protein and tastes pretty good.
For tea..raspberry tea with honey.

Genemai Macha from http://www.mygreentea.com. Green tea is my favorite and this is my favorite green tea.
For hiking I like black bean soup from the bulk aisle at the co-op.

I'm a huge fan of Yogi Egyptian Licorice tea (http://ow.ly/ewShl) and Tulsi Red Chai Masala (http://ow.ly/ewScF). Neither are caffeinated and both hit the spot after a long day in the mountains.
