I read the recent trip report by Sadie's Driver of the access conditions up the Middle Fork to Yellow Hill, but I was wondering if anyone else had any recent info on the road conditions up the North Fork and Stafford Creek. Any info is appreciated.

As of late Jan. the NF Teanaway road was closed to wheeled vehicles at 29 Pines. Can't imagine much has changed since then.

We drove to just past the Teanaway Guard station yesterday (March 1), and we saw a few other vehicles drive past the junction with the Beverly Creek road. The Stafford Creek road looked much less traveled as we drove past that junction.

Road Closed sign removed for the season per the Cle Elum RD front desk, as probably noticed by Geo Tom. Tom, how much snow on the road at Beverly junction?
Thanks,
John

There was not much snow on the main road up to that point. My friend probably could have driven to the Beverly junction (where we headed uphill on the long ridge extending south from Iron Peak), but his tires were a bit worn and he was being cautions so we stopped just past the guard station. There were a few slick/icy areas, but nothing very deep between where we parked and where we left the road.
We made a quick glance up the Beverly Creek Road (access to Beverly Turnpike and Bean Creek trailhead) and that looked maybe a foot deep, although some of the more exposed/less shady areas likely had less accumulation.

Hmm, you have me wondering whether there would be enough snow to ski up from close to the junction to Bean Creek Basin and Earl. My guess from what I've seen in the Snoqualmie area, though, would be that it would be an exercise in frustration at least until up near the Basin proper, and probably even pretty sketchy at/above there.

Last year I hiked from 29 Pines to the Guard Station on March 23 and I don't think my feet touched bare ground.
