Good two-hour documentary played tonight on A&E called “Bearing Witness.” It followed five women foreign correspondents — reporters and photographers — around for one year and chronicled their experiences in war torn hotspots around the globe. Tales of the women trying to get the story or the photograph, being threatened, being thrown in prison, being shot, and more. Much behind the scenes footage in Iraq and elsewhere. Would be a scary, exciting, rewarding but all-consuming job. A&E will likely run it again soon. Thumbs up. www.aetv.com/indiefilms/interior.jsp
