Quote: | Searchers are looking for a missing man in Kittitas County, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported.
Gregory Brown, 59, disappeared Tuesday after he went for a walk on the Rachel Lake Trail.
Deputies said he was at the trailhead with a friend, left the friend's car to take a walk and never returned.
The friend called police, and the search was launched.
Some of Brown's clothing was used to give search dogs a scent to follow.
"He told me he was going for a hike, and (would) be gone for a day or two maybe," said Dirk Hansen, a neighbor. "Then I saw him walking and I said, 'I thought you were going for a hike,' and he said 'No, I decided not to go on a hike,' and no one has seen him since."
Friends said Brown suffers from health problems. |

Yes the story is confusing, was he day hiking or overnighting? He was at the trailhead with a friend. Doesnt the friend know if he had a pack for overnighting? Sounds like his attitude wasnt very positive, hope he wants to be found.

this is one of the oddest sounding stories I have ever heard. The quote is what is so confusing.

I gotta watch the other local newschannels to get more accurate and fuller info. But come to think of it, with such obtuse and strange info they have to go on with this case - holy moley the speculation could be all over the map (literally).

Another quality story from Kiro tv, do they have an editor, does the editor have a G.E.D.? Are we expected to interpret the ramblings of a North Bend Trailer park scholar ourselves?

I'd prefer undoctored ramblings to the typically erroneous and condescending media "analysis."

He didn't have clamps, his gramps had clamps, but gramps wasn't with him. He didn't really go for a hike. He said he was going, but then he decided not to go, but got lost at Rachel Lake anyway.
Can't you people figure anything out for yourselves? Sheesh!

I heard they found him. He's sitting at home wondering what all the fuss is about. He said he left a note in his trunk and told his cat to call for help if he didn't feed it in two days. More details at 5 on KIRO TV!
